Catherine Hooton

Catherine Hooton is an accomplished executive leader, currently holding the position as the Head of Executive Business & People at the UK’s largest Police Credit Union. With over 25 years of experience supporting C-suite leaders, Catherine has built a distinguished career as an HR professional, and now as a strategic Head of People. She began her career as an Executive Assistant and worked up to a senior EA at Executive Board level.
She is also the founder of CH Executive Consulting, BeCoS - the UK’s first consultancy dedicated to empowering aspiring Chiefs of Staff, Executive Assistants, as well as Every Seat which enables business leaders to build high-performing C-Suite support functions. Through this collective, Catherine delivers specialist coaching and consulting, supporting professional women in aligning their career goals with strategic business success.
Her early career spans well-respected organisations including Marks & Spencer PLC and Eversheds LLP, where she developed her skills in high-pressure corporate environments. Catherine has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to understanding the human dynamics within business, with particular emphasis on the complexities involved in advancing to senior positions as an EA within the corporate sector.
An award-winning coach and mentor, Catherine is recognised for her impact in developing female executive support professionals across the UK. As both a speaker and facilitator, she brings energy, empathy, and expert insight to every stage.
